(This is for you Aunt Sandy.) Well, since I have a few minutes while the rhubarb muffins bake, I thought I post something short. By the way, the rhubarb muffins are not "almost vegan". They have an egg in them, white flour and brown sugar (gasp! Just kidding!) Oh, not to mention, white sugar and butter on top. Yummmmm.....I found this awesome website that has nothing but recipes for rhubarb! Check it out.

Here is Anthony in my parents garden. He has on my Dad's hat and is pushing a fertilizer spreader. He was pretending the spreader was a tractor. We were in the house talking and then we looked up and saw this. By the way, when we were opening my parent's pool, there were tadpoles gallore on the cover. We took 7 home with us. They are tree frogs. We have been feeding them & watching them mature. Eventually, we will release them into our backyard. Here are some pics of the little guys. Anthony has been calling them his babies. I'm thinking of naming them after the Lewis & Clark expedition. We don't have any tree frogs here, so they will be venturing into unknown territory here! So far, only 3 of them have all 4 legs. They are soooo tiny.
I guess I could also mention that we received our books for this fall from Rod and Staff. I'm so excited!
Thanks Pam,
ReplyDeleteSo good to talked to you all. Anthony is growing up so fast. Hard to believe he will be 5 yrs at his Birthday. Hope to see all this summer.
