After having a breakfast of fruit with the homemade rhubarb muffins from yesterday (which are delish), Anthony and I had a leisurley morning before heading out to meet some friends for lunch and then going to a farm. A friend of my friend, has little farmette. It's adorable! Plus, she has all these fun animals. I purchased a dozen fresh eggs and a pint of fresh cream. Mark is going to use the cream tonight to make his curry chicken.
Today was the HOTTEST day on record for the year so far, but the heat didn't stop us. The boys, and us had a wonderful time. And the people who run the farm are such sweet & inviting people. Why are farm or country people typically (am I racially profiling here?!) so down to earth and kind? Anywho, here are some pics from our day! The start out with Anthony sitting with Tasha, our Great Dane after breakfast.

Amy had one sheep, but the poor thing had just been sheared and well, wasn't all that attractive right now. Plus, there were so many animals to see, that I didn't get to spend any one on one with the sheep. Maybe next visit and maybe next time, I'll try some of their fresh, raw milk and some duck eggs too.
